Gifted students in states across the country often encounter a wide range of services varying from state to state and even district to district. Parents of gifted students, especially profoundly gifted or twice-exceptional (2e), may find themselves in a position where they must advocate for their child in order to receive a fair and appropriate education for their special needs and abilities.
