Davidson Academy students delivered standout performances at the Nevada State Science Olympiad Tournament, hosted at UNLV. Competing in 23 STEM events per division, the Academy fielded two full teams: middle school (Division B) and high school (Division C).
The Division B team earned first place overall, making them the top middle school team in Nevada—and securing a spot at the National Science Olympiad Tournament. Every student on the team earned at least one medal, a remarkable achievement reflecting their preparation, collaboration, and depth of knowledge.
The Division C team also impressed with a third-place finish in a competitive high school field. A special thank-you goes to senior Sawyer VanZanten for his leadership and dedication over the past two years.
