Davidson Academy student Priya Konduru has earned a spot in the prestigious Scripps National Spelling Bee after winning her regional spelling championship. Competing against 72 district champions from 44 schools across Nevada, Priya showcased her exceptional spelling skills to claim the top title.
As a regional champion, Priya will receive the Samuel Louis Sugarman Award and a one-year subscription to Britannica Online Premium and Merriam-Webster Unabridged Online.
Priya will now represent Nevada at the Scripps National Spelling Bee semifinals on May 28, with the finals set for May 29.
